(CHARLESTON, SC) -- A school bus driver has been arrested after police say she accepted money from two 16-year-old Berkeley Alternative School students to ignore a sex act with a girl on the bus.

The sex act was caught on a school bus videotape, said Moncks Corner Lt. Wendell Bowen Iii said.

Lacey Jane Bolen, 26, of Goose Creek, was arrested Thursday on a charge of obstruction of justice.

The teenagers were charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor. One student is from Hanahan and the other from Goose Creek. The female student involved is 14 and, by law, under the age of consent. Bowen would not say specifically what happened on the bus Tuesday.

Based on his review of the videotape, Bowen said it appeared that about 14 students were on the bus during that time. The video showed that about "half don't want to be involved; the other half is just looking on," Bowen said.

One of the students reported the incident to a school resource officer Wednesday.
