(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) -- Top adult star Jenna Jameson said today her attorneys have asked the F.B.I. to track down the perpetrators of an Internet fraud that spread a malicious Web virus through an unauthorized screensaver ("sexy_jenna.scr") that bears her likeness.

"Over the holidays a person or persons set off a virus on the Internet using a phony label 'Screensavers from Club Jenna," said the sultry actress who was named the leading adult film star of all time by AVN magazine. "This malicious act has inconvenienced countless innocent people who have been affected by the virus. ClubJenna does not condone spamming and never attaches anything to our emails. Plus, we would never ask anyone to download anything from our emails."

"We have alerted the F.B.I Internet Fraud Department and we intend to pursue the criminals that have perpetrated this cowardly act," said Ms. Jameson, who is chairwoman of ClubJenna, Inc., the company that manages her site and those of several other adult personalities.

The company posted a notice on the ClubJenna website warning members not to open any email called "sexy_jenna.scr," a file type associated with a windows screensaver, but that in fact "may contain a malicious virus." the original email included forged headers with the company's logo and a fraudulent address, Admin@ClubJenna.com.
