Myles' Weekend Adventures: Karaoke XXX, Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo - Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This column will be about some really fun events and lots of hot young women, so please read on to learn just what it is that is being spoken of.
Monday, August 19, I drove to Las Vegas and arrived around 4:30 in the afternoon.
After checking into my hotel, I went to the Orleans Hotel and Casino to pig out at the French Market Buffet. (I ate at that same buffet five days in a row. I'm now afraid to step onto a scale!)
After I had stuffed myself to the point of discomfort, I went to the Red Label Bar to attend Rebecca Love's Karaoke XXX and to see who might show up during the evening.
The people who were in attendance that I already knew were: Cytherea, Europe Dichan, the original Tommy Gunn and Kasey Storm, Alura Jenson, Kayla Kleevage who was hosting on this night, Rebecca Love of course, Claudia Marie, industry journalist and photographer Misha More, my Editor-in-Chief Steve Nelson, and Kevin Wang.
The people I met for the first time on this occasion were: Kitty Hyde who is a good-looking woman that wants to get into the adult film industry, Austin Lynn, and Grandpa Vampire.
Grandpa Vampire is a remarkable double for Al Lewis who portrayed the Grandpa character on, "The Munsters," television series years ago.
Grandpa just happens to own a most interesting and unusual customized hearse. He said that he also performs gothic weddings and provides limousine service in the customized hearse. Grandpa said that unfortunately GrandpaVampireOfLasVegas.com never got up and running. (What a shame. It would have no doubt been an interesting website.)
Before the evening was over, the always sexy Katie Morgan showed up with an HBO camera crew to shoot some footage for a reality show pilot that is being put together.
Exotic Dancer Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo
Tuesday morning, August 20, my Editor-in-Chief, Steve Nelson, and I went to Mandalay Bay to register for the Expo and pick up our press credentials.
While we were there, we ran into Lexi Lamour, Lisa Ann, Dakota Skye, and Don Waitt and Teresa Tearno of Exotic Dancer Publications, and the fellow I refer to as Big Mike who was working security as he has every year that I have covered the event.
Tuesday evening, it was off to Larry Flynt's Hustler Club for the Owners Expo opening night party and feature dancer showcase.
While this writer didn't meet any new industry people during this evening, he did see a lot of people who were already known to him including: Tony Batman, Leah Bay, Darius Belcher the owner of the Red Parrot in El Paso, Texas, Krystle Cummings, Simone Danalustrous, Stormy Daniels, Daisy Duxe, Tim Hinojosa the general manager of Desiree's, in San Angelo, Texas, Prinzzess Felicity Jade, Nakita Kash, Naomi Knight, Lexi Lamour and husband Ethan Cage, Little Sassy Cassee, Kloey Love, Shay Lynn, Jynx Maze, Misha More, Steve Nelson, Teagan Presley, Lacy Rain, industry photographer R. J. Reynolds, industry photographer Ricky Rich, Richelle Ryan, Brian Sebastian, Lillith Sinn, Dakota Skye, Alexis Texas, Natasha Vegas, Don Waitt of Exotic Dancer Publications, and Destiny B. Wilde.
The ladies that performed in the feature dancer showcase during the party in order of appearance were: Teagan Presley, Alexis Texas, and Lisa Ann.
Wednesday, August 21, I attended the first day of the Owners Expo trade show.
The people seen on this day that were already known to me were: Joanna Angel, Brandy Aniston, Trinity St. Clair, Teal Conrad, Gaia, CEO of LA Direct Models Derek Hay, Lisa Licious, Little Sassy Cassee, the publishers of GlamorGirl Magazine Rich Hansen and his wife, Alexis Monroe, Emily Parker, Pint-Size Pepper, adult film actor, director, and co-owner of Ideal Image Models Tee Reel, Tasha Reign, former feature dancer and owner of a number of stripper contests Rio Rivers, Bonnie Rotten, Richelle Ryan, Lillith Sinn, Rikki Six, sisters Natalia and Natasha Starr, Christie Stevens, Natasha Vega, club chain owner Jerry Westlund, and Wild Jim and Michelle from the Wild J's Gentlemen's Club chain.
The people I met for the first time on this day were: Ryan Ashley, Koyotee J. Von Diva, Darling Danika, event planner and owner of Kandy Ladies Entertainment (kandyladiesent.com) Lakeisha, Phoenix Phires, Angela Sommers, Katie Sutra (even though we have been Facebook friends for a while now), and Trinity Turner.
Since I had already decided I couldn't afford to purchase a ticket for the Exotic Dancer Awards Show this year, instead of checking out any of the Expo-related parties Wednesday evening, I decided to go back to my hotel, go to bed early, and rest up for the remainder of the week.
Thursday, August 22, I attended the second and final day of the Owners Expo trade show.
During the day, the people I ran into that I already knew or had at least met before and hadn't seen the first day were: Christina Aguchi, Helen Bedd, Lexi Belle, Barrett Blade, Allie Haze, Justice, Naomi Knight, Sunny Lane, and Sondra Saxon.
The people I met for the first time on this day were: Annika Amour, Barbie Dollarz, and Kayla-Jane Danger.
Thursday evening, I attended the closing night party and the big feature dancer showcase at Sapphire's Gentlemen's Club.
The hostess of the showcase was none other than the legendary Lisa Ann.
The first act to perform during the showcase was Skankasaurus Wrecks a new duo act that consists of Simone Danalustrous and Lacey Rain. Simone and Lacey did a fantastic performance! In my own personal opinion, Simone and Lacey stole the show!
Next up was Jaded Dawn. At very nearly the start of her show, Jaded Dawn rode a small electric motorcycle across the stage. Before the show was over, she performed with two live snakes. (I believe the snakes were some type of Pythons.)
The Diamond Dolls, another new duo act that consists of Richelle Ryan and Lisa Licious, performed next, and they did a great job!
Next, Roxy Delight did a somewhat modern version of an old time burlesque performance.
The next performer was Katie Sutra who has won more than one contest with her great work on the pole.
Pint-Sized Pepper, a little person feature performer, was the next to take the stage and wow the audience.
The final performance was done by a three girl act known as Suicide Sirens consisting of Chelsea, Jesabel, and Billie. (Based on something I've seen on the Internet, I believe that the Suicide Sirens are actually several woman who team up to perform in various numbers at various times.)
The Suicide Sirens have to be seen to be believed! Just to give the readers a hint at how extreme the Suicide Sirens' performance was, at the end of the show, two of the girls came back out onto the stage each carrying the type of large staple gun used to attach large posters, etc., to a wall. Once they had reached the center of the stage, they started picking up dollar bills from the floor and stapling them to their bodies. They then came down from the stage and mingled among the crowd allowing some of the spectators to staple tip money to their bodies. (I'm certain this bit was not an illusion, because at one point, I saw some blood on one girl's right buttock!)
Friday, August 23, I checked out of the hotel and went to the Orleans to eat at the French Market Buffet one last time. I then got two pairs of my boots shined, and then hung around bored out of my mind for almost three hours. (If anybody is wondering how I could have been bored in Las Vegas, I'm too smart to gamble. And since I was waiting for what was supposed to be an important phone call, there wasn't anything else I could do but wait.)
I thought I was going to have an opportunity to try my hand at photographing a hot dancer but something obviously went wrong. I had spoken with the lady on the phone about 11:00 that morning. However, even after leaving two voice mails during the day, I never got the call from her that I was expecting. So I hit the road home at 5:30 that afternoon with a very interesting detour. (To find out all about the detour, people will have to read my next column!)
Okay good people, that will be a wrap for now. Let's all meet back here the next time to see just what it is that I've been up to next. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!
Bonsoir et au revoir,
