Falcon's Flight: Leya's 1st Birthday

As I celebrate the first birthday of Leya Falcon, I began to reflect on how great it has been to have her enter into my life and to be able to share her with the rest of the world and watching her grow and flourish has brought me nothing but joy. I still remember the day I decided that I finally took my dream and decided I wanted to bring life to it, I went through all of the preparations mentally and physically that any mother to be would and a big part of this was choosing a name that fit the woman I was about to give birth to.
I admit that I struggled quite a bit with this but thankfully the father that helped create this starlet that was about to come to life knew exactly who she should be, Leya Falcon. After having a name for my starlet, it was time to give birth to her and that birth date was November 25, 2011, the day she came out to make her entrance into the world by filming her very first scene!
As any human just entering into the world, Leya was no different and had to learn to open her eyes, hold her head up and crawl. Due to her different thought process she quickly became very advanced in some aspects, but others she is a little behind in and recently just learned how to walk though she is still wobbly and falls sometimes. I know the potential that Leya has and once others begin to see her the way that I do I know she will not only learn to run, but to jump, run and fly faster than the Millennium Falcon. [Made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. -Ed.] Every day is an experience and as stubborn as Leya is, I have seen firsthand the many things she has learned the hard way but I am extremely proud of her as she has grown so strong and intelligent from these things.
The past year Leya, having the huge amount of trust that ever young child has in the world has been fucked over by many people but from that she has learned the lesson that everyone is not always as they seem. The world is full of dark and shady people and she learned how to research and trust in her own developing instincts in order weed through the bad and find the good hearted people, and those people she truly appreciates. Another milestone in Leya's first year was her lesson in forgiveness, this she found out is not just a gift to the adverse party, but a gift to herself. To let go of the hurt of past wrongs done to her and the bitterness she held onto allowed her to find out how to truly be happy and in this she also was able to rekindle the love with the man that did her wrong and did not accept her when he found out she was about to make her entrance into the world.
Of all things learned during Leya's first year, like opening up to the camera, being comfortable enough to be herself, and the fact that she actually can enjoy butt sex knowing now that if you properly clean it out that there will not be shit particles coming out of the anal sphincter onto the cock, perhaps her most important lesson is her lesson in patience. Seeing others achieve success very quickly, Leya wanted the same and often became very depressed when she saw herself putting forth twice the effort with only half of the recognition while others did half the work and received twice the recognition.
Realizing that she is truly "something else" and that nothing has ever come easy to her, she has come to accept that as long as she keeps her motivation and giving her all in everything that she will eventually receive the recognition and success that she was bound to have. Leya knows she has a long and full life ahead of her and though she may be a little bit slower than the rest of the new starlets, she keeps in mind that by continuing the hard work and going at a slow and steady pace she will have time to stop and appreciate every moment and achievement that much more. I look forward to watching Leya continue to bloom at her own pace further in this next year and know that eventually she will achieve all that she dreams of.
Now that you all think I have multiple personality disorder, I must say that maybe you are correct but then again, maybe you are not. I am obviously Leya Falcon just writing in third person about myself as if I were her mother and she were just a baby but that is kind of how I feel. I, Mindy, the person that gave birth to Leya Falcon am living vicariously through her and pushing her to do the things that Mindy was told she could never do because she was too weird, too strange, too geeky.
Mindy and Leya Falcon are the same person, they both have the same personality, it’s just that Leya is the side of Mindy that had to be given life in order for Mindy to be able to mentally give herself a fresh start and live the life she wanted and follow the dreams she was told that she could never achieve. Happy Birthday Leya, thank you for giving Mindy the fresh start in life that she needed and for staying true to her and to yourself.
