(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) -- Legendary director John Stagliano is interviewed in a new short documentary about the current federal obscenity case directed against Stagliano and his companies, Evil Angel Productions and John Stagliano Inc. ''What all Americans have to fear is a crusading government -- the nanny state that's saying it's bad to consume porno, and we're going to tell you you can't, because you're not supposed to masturbate anyway.''

But Stagliano also sees hope in the future, observing that ''if you look at what the Religious Right's been screaming about for years and you look at what's actually happened to the country in terms of the proliferation and availability of erotic images, you have to say that they've lost.''
