The short video, available immediately at declareyourself.com and vivid.com, and soon at dozens of other video sharing websites, features Ms. Leone is, who is, in her words, a ''firm believer in personal freedom.''

''The best way to exercise that freedom,'' she says in the video, ''is to vote.''

The video was filmed on the Los Angeles on the set of one of Ms. Leone's upcoming films.
