(HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- SexZ Pictures contract star Paulina James will be taking the next year off from the adult movie business after announcing her pregnancy in a phone call to CEO Bo Kenney.

The best new starlet contender signed an exclusive contract with SexZ Pictures last summer and was scheduled for two upcoming major feature movie shoots when she learned she was expecting her first child.

During her phone call with Kenney, the two agreed that it was in her best interest to concentrate on her personal life which will take her to Houston, Texas to be with her fiancé.

In a prepared statement, James said, ''I’ve had a wonderful year in the adult industry, I met amazing people had the privilege to travel out of the country and make great movies. I planned to do big things with SexZ Pictures this year and in the years to come, but as we speak I will be taking time off due to my pregnancy with my wonderful fiancé'. I will keep in touch with SexZ through my pregnancy and I wish the best for the company and their success in the mean time.''

Still under contract with SexZ Pictures, James has the option of coming back to resume her career after her child arrives if she so chooses but the brunette beauty will not be able to shoot for any other company.

''Paulina is a wonderful young lady and an excellent performer and although this was a bit unexpected, taking this important time off is in her best interests. The doors to SexZ Pictures will be open if she chooses to come back and we wish her and her fiancé the very best,'' stated Kenney.

Scheduled to shoot a major production with Eli Cross and a comedy with will Ryder, James now looks forward to spending more time in Houston away from Los Angeles.

I’m a Southern California girl at heart, but I’m looking forward to living in Houston,'' she said.

While leaving the door open for a comeback following her leave of absence, James sounded as though she is considering closing out her adult career forever when she concluded her statement with, ''Thank you everyone for giving me a hell of a time! Love always Paulina James.''
