Launched in July 2006, GodsGirls has created a virtual buzz for their unique perspective on alt. culture via their website. In less than a year, GodsGirls now has more than 80,000 MySpace friends and has gained a reputation for being everything other ‘alt. erotica’ sites are not: selective. GodsGirls was named after a lyric in a song from the band Scarlet Grey, ‘All the girls sold their souls except for Gods girls.’ To that end, the GodsGirls community is more than meets the naked eye. Editorial within the site includes everything from music (interviews, ‘Band of the Month’, tour dates, live reviews, show reviews) Horoscopes, Digital Eavesdropping (wanna know what the girls are really IMing about?), interviews with fellow members and models, random articles the girls find of interest as well as essays, features on tattoo artists and more.
