Myles' Weekend Adventures: Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. A special time of year has come and gone again.

Tuesday, August 22ND, I drove up to Las Vegas. Once I arrived in Las Vegas, for the most part, I just hung around in my room, watched T.V., and relaxed the remainder of Tuesday, Wednesday, and most of the day Thursday, August 24Th. Then, Thursday evening, I got ready and headed for the Stardust Hotel and Casino to attend the Exotic Dancer Reception and Awards Show.

The people I ran into during the reception and before the show whom I knew or had at least met before were: Batman from Ksexradio.Com, Exotica, Stormy Daniels, Summer Haze and Craig Valentine, Lexi Lamour, Devon Lee, Nakita Kash, Katie Morgan, who is planning to start feature dancing in the very near future, Natalie Ocean, and Aspen Reign. I also saw an entourage from the Fantasy Castle, located in Signal Hill, California, which consisted of: Jerry Westlund, the owner of the Fantasy club chain, Moe, the general manager of the Fantasy Castle, and five or six of the Fantasy Castle house dancers, including Sexy, and is she ever. Sexy is a hot African-American lady. The key word here is Hot! If anybody ever finds themselves in the Fantasy Castle, look for Sexy and buy a few dances. I doubt they will be disappointed.

Exotic Dancer Award Show

So far as I am concerned, this year's award show was the best one I have seen to date. The event was hosted by Bobby Slayton and was he ever hilarious! (the program referred to Mr. Slayton as, "The Bulldog of Comedy." However, the announcer continuously referred to him as, "The Pit Bull of Comedy." So, I don't really know which title was the correct one, but, in my own opinion, Pit Bull sounded better.)

The show was opened by four dancers from the Las Vegas Scores Gentlemen's Club performing a well choreographed dance routine.

Following the Scores ladies, Krystal Steal presented the Club of the Year, Northeast Region, Award to Rick's Cabaret, New York, New York, and the Club of the Year, Northwest Region, Award to the Great Alaskan Bush Company, Anchorage, Alaska.

Next, Stormy Daniels presented the Production Company of the Year award to Sound Stage Systems, and the Cool New Product of the Year award to J & a Productions.

Following this was a performance by Claudia Monet followed by a performance by Nikki Benz.

Next up, Nina Mercedez presented the Club of the Year, Mideast Region, Award to Pt Sports Cabaret of East St. Louis, Illinois, and the Club of the Year, Central Region, Award to the Penthouse Club of Dallas, Texas.

Following this, the legendary Ron Jeremy presented the Newcomer Feature of the Year Award to Carmen Hart, the Club Owner Favorite Entertainer Award to Lexi Lamour, and the Best Adult Movie Feature Entertainer Award to Stormy Daniels.

This was followed by a performance by Taya Parker.

Next, Penthouse Pet of the Year Jamie Lynn presented the Club of the Year, Southeast Region, Award to the Gold Club of Charlotte, North Carolina, the Club of the Year, Southwest Region, Award to the Las Vegas, Nevada, Scores Gentlemen's Club, and the, "Feature," Club of the Year Award to T's Lounge of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Following this was a performance by Zoe Britton, followed by a choreographed dance routine performed by five lovely dancers from the Las Vegas Scores Gentlemen's Club.

Next, Jim St. John presented the Hall of Fame (1st Award) to Michael Pinter, and the Hall of Fame (2nd Award) to Steve Cooper.

This was followed by a performance by Tanya Taylor, plus a performance by Donna Doll. (There is something in my notes about, "Before featured Vegas showgirl," but now I don't remember what I was referencing. I think Tanya's and Donna's performances may have been followed by a performance by a dancer from one of the Las Vegas shows.)

Next up, Angelina Spencer presented the Innovator of the Year Award to Dawn Risso.

Then, Bobby Slayton presented the Club Chain of the Year Award to the Deja Vu organization and the Overall Club of the Year to Delilah's of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Closing the show, Jade Simone St. Clair presented the Entertainer of the Year Award to Tanya Taylor.

All of the featured performers on this night are very talented ladies who can actually dance, and they did excellent performances. All of these ladies wore beautiful costumes worthy of a Las Vegas show! Additionally, all of these ladies are very limber and athletic.

I was especially impressed by the performances of Zoe Britton, who has been featuring for seven years and still doesn't look old enough to even enter a strip club, and Taya Parker.

In my own opinion, Taya may have given the best performance. She began by giving a short welcome to the awards show speech while wearing a black, very sexy, version of a business suit. A short while into her performance, Taya removed the business suit to reveal a beautiful, "Super Girl," style costume. Once that was removed, her bra and thong set more or less matched the, "Super Girl," look. As her show was ending, Taya tossed a large number of green, glow-in-the-dark gizmos, which represented her, "Krytonite," out into the audience. (Everybody should start bugging the owners and managers of their local clubs to book Taya Parker for a featuring gig, the sooner the better! In fact, everybody should start requesting bookings for all of the award show performers.)

The people I ran into after the show had ended whom I knew or had at least met before, and whom I hadn't seen before the show started were: John Alleyn, Nikki Benz, Zoe Britton, Jade Simone St. Clair, Donna Doll, Christi Lake, Summer Leigh, Kloey Love, Suzie Malone, Nina Mercedez, better known, at least to me, as just Mercedez, Taya Parker, Ruby, and Angelica Wild.

Last by not least, I met Tori Weber, who owns the Fox clubs of Columbus, Ohio, after the show. What a lovely woman Tori is. While she is in her early fifties, she looks as if she is only in her early thirties! Plus, Tori is such a nice lady, she walked with me all the way to the south end of the casino area in order to be certain that was the entrance nearest to where I parked, and all I did was to ask her which direction was south. (Yes, after making only one turn in the casino to get to the reception and the showroom area, I lost my sense of direction. Anybody who has ever been to Las Vegas knows how easy it is to get turned around bass ackwards in even a small casino!)

Not only did Tori walk me out, she stood with me for quite some time while we chatted and did a bit of flirting. I only wish this lady lived in the Los Angeles area. She was such a joy to be around! The people I saw at the tradeshow Saturday afternoon, whom I knew or had met before were: Devyn Devine, Crystal Gunns, Lauren Kain, Kayla Kupcakes, Lexi Lamour, Shayla Lane, Rebecca Love, Devon Michaels, Minka, my editor-in-chief, Steve Nelson, Nina Mercedez, Aspen Reign, Ruby, Schevelle, Tanya Taylor, Taya Parker, Darien Vain, Echo Valley, Angelica Wild, and Destiny B. Wilde.

Also there, from Stevi Secret's Nude Cabaret, were Stevi Secret, the Phoenix Dj, and Princessa, Stevi's number one house dancer.

The people I met for the first time during the tradeshow were: Cindy Cupps, Eden 38DD, Nikki Jackson, Amanda McGill, fetish model Rhiannon, Velvet Rose, who has been out of the business for a while but is planning a comeback and is also contemplating feature dancing, Samantha 38G, Scorpiana, who owns Mature View Network, Scorpiana's Hot Spot, and www.Scorpiana.com, and Mia Starr.

Approximately thirty minutes after the tradeshow had ended, the Exotic Dancer Feature Showcase began in the same room. (that was very convenient, since I had already taken a seat to rest my worn out legs.)

The showcase was hosted by Nina Mercedez and a young gentleman called a.J. (Unfortunately, I have no idea who a. J. might be.) Nina Mercedez looked so beautiful as ever, and both she and a. J. did a fine job of hosting.

The dancers who performed in the showcase were Devon Lee, Shayla Lane, Lauren Kain, Schevelle, all of whom I know, and Natasha Stone, whom I met for the first time after the showcase had ended.

Nina Mercedez and all five of the dancers who performed in the showcase are beautiful women with beautiful costumes. And, they are all excellent feature dancers and should not be missed by anybody who might get a chance to see them perform and meet them in person.

Sunset Thomas

Saturday evening, after the showcase had ended, and I had said my goodbyes, I stopped to fill up my gas tank, grab a snack and a drink, and headed over to the Palomino Club to check the place out and to observe one of Sunset Thomas' shows and say hello.

Since I have written about Sunset before, I'll keep this somewhat short. Sunset is a beautiful women with a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. Her costumes are always lovely and sexy, her musical selection is always good, and she is an excellent performer. Also, her interaction with the tip rail customers is so good as the club she is in will allow.

I highly recommend that anybody who might get an opportunity to go to a club to see and meet Sunset Thomas in person do so without fail. She is well worth the time and effort.

Palomino Club

The first thing I saw upon entering the club was a little Hispanic cutie in the cashier's booth whose name I unfortunately failed to learn. I can tell everybody that she was a very friendly sweetheart of a young lady.

Upon entering the main room of the club, I was greeted by a fellow named Randy who asked me where I'd like to sit. Once I opted to sit at the bar, Randy escorted me to an empty bar stool and made certain that I knew the location of the free food.

When I told Randy who I was, he immediately excused himself, went to find Adam Gentile, the club owner, then brought Adam to me and introduced us.

After chatting with me for a few minutes, Adam told me that if I needed anything at all, to be certain to let him know, then took off to take care of the business of running the club.

Some of the house dancers I met this night were Shauna, a beautiful black woman originally from England, Gia, and Alisha. I also met a house dancer who told me that she believes she would like to get into the adult film industry. This lady disappeared on me before I could get her name. However, I was told by a male employee that he believed I was referring to a dancer called Carmella.

Before I left the club this night, it slowly became like old home week. After I had arrived, several industry people I know showed up. Among them were Steve Nelson, Ryan J of Wet Radio, Donna Doll, and Hank Armstrong. (Hank told me that Randy West was on his way, but because I was already getting tired and had a long drive home ahead of me the next morning, I decided to call it a night before Randy arrived. (I did ask Hank to tell Randy hello for me.)

I was greatly surprised to find Jezebelle Bond and Holly Morgan dancing at the club that night. (the club had brought them both in for the grand reopening weekend. [as it turned out, Holly lives in the Las Vegas Area.])

While I can't remember her name, and like an idiot I forgot to write it down, I met a bartender at the club who is hotter than a two dollar pistol. It is a good thing I don't live in Las Vegas. Otherwise, that extremely sexy bartender could talk me into becoming an alcoholic!

As I was leaving the club, I met another very nice club employee who said everybody calls him just Green Bay. After chatting with Green Bay for a few minutes, I left the club, returned to my hotel, got some sleep, and headed home Saturday morning.
