Urgent appeal - New request for Amplification in our case! Our preliminary trial is now approaching fast and our lawyer, Eugenio Morice is doing extensive legal maneuvering.

He has submitted appeals to the judge for "amplification" of the investigation to show that the government's case is based on lies, the false arrest, the forged search warrant, prejudice against foreigners, the fact that no female models were called to testify, the fact that no evidence has ever been found to involve minors, that children were encouraged to "peep" by an adult who has never been called for a statement... The list goes on and on. No one in Panama outside of the corrupt government thinks there is any case against us at all.

The bottom line is that our defense costs money and I have very little of it. Our lawyer is stretched to the maximum and is suffering because he is a rare bird- an idealist in Panama.

We have been extremely fortunate to have Eugenio Morice as our attorney because he is brilliant in analysis and interpretation. The only problem we have is that no one has the time or desire to read anything presented, especially the truth when it calls out so loudly!

Eventually, the government's case, based solely on the prevailing political mood at the time of our arrest, will fail. In the meantime our survival is on very shaky grounds.
