Zupko Basks in Award Noms

(HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- Thomas Zupko is anything but modest these days as he basks in the glow of six AVN Award Nominations earned by his movies this year. In fact Zupko is so proud of his nominations that it wouldn't surprise a few LFP executives if he lobbied them to green light a porn movie about his nominations.
"Thomas is a unique guy and you understand that the moment you walk onto one of his movie sets," stated Drew Rosenfeld, creative director for Hustler and VCA Pictures. "We're all very pleased to see his latest movies for us receive the type of critical praise that they are now getting."
Zupko has a mind unlike any other director in today's heavily competitive porn market and his most recent movies prove that he thinks quite a bit left of center. With multiple nominations for his eye-opening series Butt Blasted and his completely deranged feature Obsessions of Avy Scott, Zupko is equally at home creating all sex thrillers or story conscious off beat adult features.
"I like to do things that others don't think of and I was able to do that with Obsessions of Avy Scott. I also am fascinated by the female ass, so there is nothing that I like to do better than do a straight ahead ass extravaganza like Butt Blasted. Man, that was a fun movie to make." Zupko said as Butt Blasted earned awards for Best Anal-Themed Feature, Best Anal sex Scene, Best Scene Coupling and two for Best Tease Performance.
Obsessions of Avy Scott took Zupko to a new level of excellence as that movie earned a nomination for Best Screenplay.
Butt Blasted is one of VCA's Excessive Entertainment biggest selling titles of 2005 and Zupko is currently working on follow-up volumes where ass is queen and his madness reigns supreme. It's no secret that he loves women so much that he often gets a bit carried away with the intensity of the sex scenes or how he gets a bit wild with his often psychotic scripts.
