DP Gets 39 AVN Noms

(VAN NUTS, CA) -- Digital Playground is thrilled to have received 39 AVN nominations in 29 categories. Joone's "Pirates," received a record breaking 24 nominations, more than any single title in the history of adult entertainment.
It was acknowledged across the board receiving nods for Best Video Feature, Best DVD, Best HH Production, Best Actress and Best Actor in addition to Best Editing, Best Sex Scene and Best Special Effects. The range of accolades was impressive enough to earn Joone a nod for 'Best Director.'
Outside of the feature genre, Robby D.'s "Jack's Playground" series received nominations for Best Gonzo Series and Best Gonzo release and Joone's "Virtual Sex with Teagan Presley" was touted in the Best Interactive DVD category. Digital Playground was also honored with nominations in each of the marketing categories, Best Packaging, Company Image, Best Marketing - Title, and Best Marketing - Website.
Awards will be presented at the 23rd annual AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 7th, 2006. In support of her nomination in AVN's Performer of the Year category, Digital Playground's contract superstar, Jesse Jane will host this years' award show.
