Jenna Ranked Among Top 50 Mainstream Celebrities

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) -- Adult megastar Jenna Jameson is ranked as the 50th most popular actress in the country by the IMDB "STARmeter" poll, which provides a snapshot of popularity based on millions of web searches.
Jameson, who has achieved fame as one of the only adult stars to cross over into mainstream entertainment popularity, is also listed among the top 100 among male and female stars, outranking the next five celebrities on the list, Jodie Foster, Naomi Watts, Britney Spears, Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry. She's just behind Gwynth Patrow (44), Julia Roberts (46) and Tara Reid (48).
"I'm thrilled to have been included in this great group of people," Jameson said. "This ranking demonstrates that the public seems to have absolutely no problem with adult entertainment and its convergence with mainstream."
In a note with its ranking STARmeter noted Jameson's best-selling adult hits such as "Jenna Jameson is the Masseuse" and "Bella Loves Jenna," as well as the fact that she appeared in the mainstream Howard Stern film "Private Parts." She also stars in the upcoming blockbuster Vivid remake, "The New Devil in Miss Jones," in which she plays the devil.
