(NEW YORK, NY) -- Video-X-Pix is set to release classics featuring Annie Sprinkle, Rhonda Jo Petty, Ron Jeremy, Randy West and Sonny Landham this week. Featuring their usual cavalcade of award-winning adult directors and performers presented, for the first time, on DVD, Video-X-Pix also brings an exclusive extra featuring a true legend of porn and one of the first adult films of a future mainstream star to stores this week.
Steven Morowitz, co-owner of Video-X-Pix, said, "Our three classic releases feature performers, that not only the more experienced and discerning adult consumer will know, but names any fan of adult movies will recognize."
That Lucky Stiff, shot in 1980 throughout Europe by noted adult director Chuck Vincent, features AVN Hall of Famers Samantha Fox, Candida Royalle, president of Femme Productions, Up and Cummers director Randy West and the legendary Ron Jeremy. Kelly Nichols, Kandy Barbour, Erica Richardson, Merle Michaels and television personality Robin Byrd also star in this rags-to-riches feature. Jeremy also appears in interview footage shot exclusively for the re- release of the film, reminiscing about the movie and adult movie making in the Golden Age.
AVN Hall of Famers Rhonda Jo Petty and a pre-Evil Angel Joey Silvera highlight Cheap Thrills, directed by Stuart Allen in 1985. The movie, revolving around models looking to get their due, also features Susan Hart, Heather Thomas, Marita Ekberg, George Payne and Jeff Scott.
Featuring a who's who of New York-based adult actors in 1976, Eric Andersson's Slippery when Wet features renowned writer and performance artist Annie Sprinkle, as well as C.J. Laing, Crystal Sync, Hope Stockton, Ursula Austin, Roger Caine and Jeffrey Hurst. The title is also one of the earliest adult performances of yet-to-be discovered Hollywood movie star Sonny Landham, who went on to co-star with Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte in the 1982 blockbuster, 48 Hrs., playing Indian convict Billy Bear. Landham also starred along side Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor and governor of California, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura, actor, pro wrestler and former governor of Minnesota, in the 1987 action flick, Predator.
