Red Dragon Acquires Peach, Launches 3 New Labels

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Red Dragon Releasing today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Peach DVD, the leading provider of DVD entertainment products focusing on the soft erotic market.
Created in 2002, Peach DVD has a library of over 200 DVD titles and was the first soft erotic company to fully embrace and utilize current DVD technology by offering interactive game play that allows the viewer to interact with the DVD. With the acquisition of Peach DVD, Red Dragon Releasing will strengthen its leadership position with the home video industry and broaden its DVD product line.
As a result of the acquisition, Red Dragon Releasing will acquire Peach DVD's entire content library, as well as its consumer database, and affiliate marketing partnerships. Key Peach DVD executives and all members of staff will join Red Dragon Releasing business units. Red Dragon Releasing plans to continue to market the Peach DVD brand as part of the Red Dragon Releasing product family.
In addition, Red Dragon Releasing announced that it will be launching 3 additional labels which will focus on non-erotic home entertainment products appealing to a wider audience. David James, CEO of Red Dragon Releasing, stated, "We intend to finance, acquire, and distribute titles that contain strong brand appeal across a broad spectrum. Each label within the Red Dragon family will focus on difference genre".
