The Sherman Oaks, California-based Adult Industry Medical (AIM) Health Care Foundation is a non-profit corporation formed to care for the physical and emotional needs of sex workers and people who work in the adult entertainment industry through HIV and STD testing and treatment, counseling services and support group programs. Their goal is to provide health care for the body, mind, emotion and spirit, as well as promoting safe and responsible sexual behavior, not only for the adult entertainment industry, but also for everyone.
In addition to HIV-related services, AIM also provides condoms, testing and treatment for other sexually transmitted diseases, pap smears, psychiatric assessment, drug and alcohol counseling, cosmetic surgery information, chiropractic healing and support groups such as a Relationships Group, Abuse Survivors Group, Women of Porn and other special educational workshops.
