(WASHINGTON, DC) -- Ebony adult actress Janet Jacme (JanetJacme.net), considered the top black adult female star of all time, has signed a non-exclusive contract with X Level Video (XLevelVideo.com) to produce and star in her own line of movies for the D.C-based company. Jacme will also be X Level's first contract star.
The agreement allows Jacme to work with other companies and producers but fulfills a career long dream for the actress, who has won numerous industry awards and has been featured in mainstream media (Vibe, Entertainment Tonight, various R&B and rap songs) as well as in more than 100 adult films.
"This is an opportunity I've been waiting for," Jacme said. "I've always wanted to star in my own films and create my own vision. I'm thankful that Rayne Man and the crew at X Level share my vision. Now we're ready to create some hot footage!"
X Level president and filmographer Rayne Man was just as excited to sign Jacme, who he feels has been under-utilized and under-publicized throughout her career.
"I am so excited about having Janet at X Level. She is truly an Icon in the porn industry," he said. "My background is from the record business so I was cool with doing a non-exclusive contract with her. Janet is with us but she has the freedom to work with others companies. She is producing her own projects for X Level and will benefit financially from them. She's directing scenes. She's developing scripts."
Rayne Man said to expect some of the hottest work fans have seen from Janet, starting with a special inside cover featuring Janet on the Jan. 19 X Level release, "Thick Azz Redbones 2." that will be followed by a big promotional push for Janet that will include a press tour and a tentative club tour. Janet will featured on the cover of Black Tail Magazine when the May 2005 issue hits stores in late February. That will coincide with her first X Level release, "Confessions of an Ass Man." Janet said she had her first gooey, wet orgasm ever on film in this movie, which is about Rayne Man's obsession with ass. The video also stars Angel Eyes.
Janet's first personal film, "Janet Jacme's Home Movies, Vol. 1" should be released in March and will include a candid interview and Janet's first turn as a director on one scene.
