Mercenary Pictures Garners Eight AVN Noms

(WOODLAND HILLS, CA) -- With less than a year since Mercenary Pictures took over its own distribution, the company garnered eight nominations for the 2005 AVN Awards Show.
Mercenary Pictures' list of nominations includes Best Ethnic-Themed release - Black for Black Reign 3, Best Ethnic-Themed Series for the Black Reign line, and Best P.O.V. Release for Pole Position: Lex POV.
The company also received performance nominations for Lexington Steele, owner of Mercenary Pictures, and Katsumi's scene in Lex Steele XXX 3 for Best Anal sex Scene, ManHammer 2 for Best Group sex Scene - Video featuring Mandy Bright, Frank Gunn, Brian Pumper and Zenza Raggi, and Bright in ManHammer 2 for Best Tease Performance.
The Mutt Brothers were also selected for their work on ManHammer 2 for Best Editing - Video, and ManHammer for Best VHS Packaging.

Steele anticipates Mercenary's continuing acclaim to rise.

Winners will be announced on Jan. 8, 2005 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
