(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Kick Ass Pictures contract star Mary Carey assisted paramedics in saving the life of Hustler Video's contract star Jessica Jaymes when she passed out during Wednesday night's Lakers game at the Staples Center. Jaymes, who attended the game with Carey, passed out during the third quarter for unknown reasons and had to be rushed to the hospital where she was treated and released.

Jaymes was having trouble staying awake after the duo returned from having drinks in the Vip lounge of the arena. "I'm not sure what she was drinking, but she kept nodding out and I was nudging her to wake up," said Carey. "She'd wake up and scream Lakers! then pass out again. The team was turning around to see what was going on and fans were getting mad cuz they thought we were doing a publicity stunt."

After Jaymes had gone down for the count, Carey began putting ice cubes down Jaymes shirt to revive her companion. When she wasn't getting any reaction, Carey flagged security over to call 911. "A bunch of paramedics came over and put an oxygen mask on her," continued Carey. "Once they got her out of the arena she came to and they asked her if she knew where she was. She said 'are you fucking kidding me?' and then they took her to the hospital."

Carey who has been frequenting/disturbing the Lakers games for some time now applauded the paramedics for their swiftness in reviving her friend. A spokesperson for the Lakers had no comment.
