Lexington Steele Honored with International Directorial Award

(BERLIN, GERMANY) -- Rounding out his awards in the adult industry, Mercenary Pictures owner Lexington Steele added the international directorial honor of Successful Video Series - Europe, one of the Venus Awards' final four trophies, to his mantle on Oct. 21.
The Successful Video Series - Europe award was given for Black Hammer, a German release drawn from the footage of all of Mercenary Pictures' 2004 releases featuring scenes exclusively performed in by Steele.
Mercenary Pictures' titles are distributed exclusively in Germany by Venus New Media.
Steele added that the domestic sales of Mercenary's product are exceptionally high and credits this to a combination of superior product and the outstanding salesmanship of Hank Weinstein, Mercenary Pictures' sales director.
"I've been distributing my own product for a little less than a year now," he said. "While this has been the toughest year I've met within my adult career, independently distributing my product has been an incredible experience, and the consumers have received my titles beyond my expectations."
While Steele has received numerous honors in front of the camera, this accolade awards Steele as one of the best directors in the world.
