Simon Wolf Productions Scores with Blue Angels: The Second Coming

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Few new studios hit a home run their first time up, but Simon Wolf did precisely that with Blue Angel, an ultra high-budget, special effects loaded, story-driven feature that instantly put Simon Wolf on the map. Presented in a special twin disc DVD set, in its first week of release Blue Angel sold in excess of 4,000 pieces. How would one follow up that success? "I was under enormous pressure to mount this feature more successfully then the first one," says John Chambliss, the founder of Simon Wolf Productions. "Since the creation of the first Blue Angel, the studio has greatly expanded its production arm, special effect effects capabilities, worldwide revenue streams and associated production budgets. Since we had all of these additional tools at our disposal, yes, the pressure on everyone was great, but I really think we rose to the occasion."
In the first Blue Angel, two recently deceased gangsters must redeem themselves by helping the lives of others on earth to escape an eternity in hell, but problems arise when one heaven-bound hopeful realizes that he was killed by the other. Part two - featuring an all-star cast with Kelly Kline, Lezley Zen, Nyomi Marcela, Eva Angelina, Dana Vespoli, Kayla Paige, Steven St. Croix, Herschel Savage, Evan Stone, Richard Raymond, Chris Cannon, Dale Da Bone, Micky Ray and Mike Horner - picks up where part one left off. This time the devil has infected Heaven's computer system with a virus which makes the bad guys look like angels, and automatically opens the Gate for their demonic arrival!
Produced by Robert Herrera - of whom Chambliss says, "Without question, I consider Robert to be the finest producer in the industry." - and directed by veteran performer Steven St. Croix, Blue Angels: The Second Coming is both a romantic and sizzling feature for the senses.
"I needed Steven to co-star with Herschel in order to bring back the original main characters, and during our meeting he expressed an interest in possibly directing," Chambliss says. "So I screened a couple of features he had directed for Vivid, and was greatly impressed - just as I am with the results of his work on this feature."
The gamble clearly paid off. Adult DVD Empire says, "Very funny stuff - one of the rare moments when I've seen something truly romantic in an adult film." and AVN awarded the title with a 4-a review, noting, ".this Steven St. Croix directed feature is highly commendable. Kelly Kline, in her first lead, has two broiling-hot scenes and the effects are spectacular as always from Simon Wolf."
