(WORLD WIDE WEB) -- Wayne C. Lewis [Wankus] Retires from AdultFYI.com, Parts ways with Gene Ross. Built over a year ago as "Lewis & Ross, Together Again for the First Time", today it was announced that they will be no longer together, as Wayne C. Lewis [mostly known as Wankus on KSEXradio.com] announced he is leaving the popular adult news site.
"There's no drama, no big story, no controversy," Lewis said, "I just really don't have the time anymore and it's not fair to Gene [Ross] that I stay on board without contributing."
Aside from breaking news stories and creating a buzz in the jizz bizz, Lewis spent a good amount of time while with AdultFYI, trying to make the industry understand the connection between AdultFYI and the popular internet sex talk radio station, KSEXradio.com. "There wasn't one," Lewis continued. "People used to think Gene Ross was on the payroll or that KSEX was a secret owner of AdultFYI. Some people actually thought Gene had an office at the KSEX studios. The truth of the matter is, Gene supports what KSEX is doing. And to be honest, he's one of the very few adult industry news writers who realized that with over 50 adult stars on-air weekly, KSEX was, and still is, a source for incredible content. Anyone that calls themselves an adult journalist should be listening and getting great stories."
KSEX has broken some big news in the last few years including Teagan Presley's recent signing with Digital Playground, adult star retirements and many other sound bytes that turned into major adult business chatter.
Wankus continued, "I teamed up with him [Gene] in part because he was such a KSEX fan but also because I was enjoying writing and breaking stories and I felt having both of us with opposite styles may make a good site. It did. I just don't have time to do it anymore."
KSEXradio.com is really booming now having just re-signed Adam & Eve to a one year advertising deal as their "Executive Sponsor", the recent release of KSEXgames and the upcoming pending release of Sexual Frequency, their first adult film that was shot many months ago. Lewis [Wankus] is the creative force behind all of those projects as well as the Program Director for 21 shows, 40 adult stars and the producer and host of his own show on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights.
"Believe it or not, I still find time to play on three softball teams," Lewis said.
Asked if he has any interest in writing again, schedule permitting, Lewis commented, "I will still contribute to AdultFYI periodically when I have time and I will still do my monthly column for Nightmoves USA publications. But I really need to focus and tighten up the ship at KSEX. AdultFYI was a hobby, KSEX is my career."
In opinion of Ross, Lewis said, "Gene gets a bad rap a lot. I've had people tell me they love him and people tell me they hate him. When I first teamed up with him I had emails and phone calls from people telling me that he was going to screw me over or find a way to bring me down. Well, as usual, they were all wrong. Gene does a great job and has a history in this business that deserves respect. Whatever problems other people may have had with Gene, I did not. I consider him a friend and wish him the best of luck with the site."
