Jenna Begins Book Tour

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) -- Accompanied by a flock of positive reviews, adult entertainment legend Jenna Jameson sets off this week on a nationwide book tour to help launch How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, her sizzling memoirs distributed by HarperCollins.
Her multi-city tour starts with an appearance in New York City Tuesday morning August 17th. . First up on the roster is the Howard Stern Show (8:39 an Et) followed by multiple interviews and an in store signing at Virgin Mega Store in Times Square at 7 pm. Her 12-day whirlwind tour ends with a final wrap party on August 28th at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas, where Jenna's remarkable career in entertainment began when she was still a teenager.
Meanwhile Rolling Stone magazine readers and VH1 viewers (Monday August 16, 10 pm) are getting up-close and personal insights into Jenna through penetrating profiles released this week. The Rolling Stone article by Vanessa Grigoriadis notes that "Indeed, "Jenna Jameson" is a kind of cultural shorthand for 'porn star,' tossed off casually in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and even romantically linked to Britney Spears' in one tabloid-sparked rumor, something they both deny ('I wish,' Jameson says)." Few will resist reading the book after Grigoriadis encapsulates it with this titillating sentence: It "includes revelations ranging from her being raped in Montana as a teenager, to a harrowing account of her addiction to methamphetamine and later Vicodin, to a fling with Marilyn Manson and the size of Howard Stern's member (surprisingly large, though she never spied it unsheathed)."
Following the Stern show, Jenna's tentative full schedule includes an appearance on Tuesday August 17th on the WP 11 Morning News show, taping an interview for "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch", which will air the following weekend on CNBC, a segment on Extra! That airs Tuesday evening (at 6 pm Et), and a book signing at the Virgin MegaStore in Times Square (7 pm Et). She'll also squeeze in phone and in-person interviews with newspapers ranging from the Lexington (KY) Herald Leader to the London Sunday Telegraph.
She stays in New York on Wednesday August 18th, where her schedule is equally hectic, including a nationwide satellite radio tour from the studios of MTV, interviews on both Fox News Channel for "Fox Magazine and CNN for "Anderson Cooper 360" (which will air at 7 pm). The day ends with the book signing (10 pm) and party at Avalon (6th Avenue and 20th Street).
On Thursday August 19th Jenna does another satellite radio tour that will include "The Fisher and Seth Show" on WSUN-FM, Tampa, "The Kidd Chris Show," on KSRX-FM, San Antonio, "The John London not Just Sports Show" on KNBR, San Francisco and Brett Haber in the Morning on WWZZ-FM, Washington, DC. Jenna is scheduled to fly to Miami for a book signing on Thursday evening August 19th at Virgin MegaStore (in the Shops @ Sunset Place; 7 pm) and for broadcast interviews on Friday August 20th that will include the "Paul & Young Ron Morning Show" on WBGG-FM Big 105.9.
Later on Friday Jenna flies to Cleveland for a book signing at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in suburban Lyndhurst (7 pm, 24519 Cedar Road), and on Saturday August 21st she heads to Lexington, Kentucky for another signing at 7 pm at Joseph-Beth Booksellers (161 Lexington Green Circle).
Jenna then heads for Chicago, where she will appear on Monday on local radio and television shows ("Fox News in the Morning on WFLD-TV and "Mancow's Morning Madhouse" on WKQX-FM) before a noon signing at Books-a-Million (144 S. Clark Street.).
On Tuesday Jenna will be in San Francisco for media appearances and ("Mornings on 2" on KTVU-TV (Fox), "John London not Just Sports Show" on KNBR-AM, and "The Pete Wilson Show" on KGO-AM) and a book signing at Virgin MegaStore (2 Stockton Street, 7 pm).
Jenna will be in Los Angeles Wednesday and Thursday for another round of appearances ("Lovelines" on KROCK-FM on Wednesday night at 10 pm, and "Jamie and Danny" KIIS-AM/FM " on Thursday) and a signing at 7 pm Thursday at Book Soup (8818 Sunset Blvd.). She heads finally for Las Vegas for media appearances and a book signing at Virgin MegaStore (Caesar's Palace Forum Shops, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. So. - M1) and a private wrap up party at the Hard Rock Cafe' on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, reviews of the book have been positive, with a solid commentary from publishing trade industry bible Publisher's Weekly and an upbeat review in Entertainment Weekly, which called the book "fascinating."
