Axel Braun Sweeps Adam Film World Awards

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Though award-winning director Axel Braun is quickly earning a new following for his hard-edged gonzo titles through Digital Sin, his epic feature Compulsion, continues to gather critical acclaim, this time in the form of six Adam Film World Awards!
"Compulsion has a great script with strong conflict - it was obviously done with a lavish budget, and reminded us of the classics of the 70s and early 80s with plot development and strong characters, but like modern porn it had heavy duty sex as well," says Adam Film World editor Anthony Petkovitch. "The final scene where Ashley Long gets gangbanged is truly volcanic. Axel obviously knows how to script and direct an all-out feature movie with an engrossing beginning, middle and end so as to hook the viewer totally and completely. It's the kind of film you can get off to but also actually watch at the same time."
Braun's Compulsion, which was shot over the summer of 2003 and released last fall, won in all the film categories: Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Female Performance for Ashley Long's turn as a mobster's wife, Best Male Performance for Kurt Lockwood's portrayal as the mobster's son who loved her, and Best sex Scene.
"Compulsion was a labor of love, blood, sweat and tears, and getting recognition for it is just great," says Braun. "I really wanted to do something different, without following the stereotypical cliche's of porn, and I was lucky enough to find a group of very talented people who shared my passion and believed in my vision. Apparently, I was also lucky enough to find a group of guys at Adam Film World who really liked the movie...so I guess you can say I'm a lucky guy who happened to have a vision, and worked hard to express it. "
Braun's latest title for Digital Sin, Double Teamed, is scheduled for release June 17th.
