(PORTLAND, OR) -- Some Portland area women are hoping to be sexier by going to school - Stripper school is in session.
And some call it the hottest new trend for every woman. The course work is unlike any other.
They're learning pole tricks, floorwork, the bootie shake, how to walk and talk just so. And what to wear. Or not wear.
Welcome to stripper school.
The students are here for different reasons. Some want to spice up their marriages. Others want a hot new way to lose weight and get in shape.
Teachers say Hollywood stars like Drew Barrymore and Carmen Electra have ignited the hot new trend with videos and books about what they call the "art" of striptease.
And teachers say the experience is meant to be empowering and constructive - not degrading or overly-racy.
This class, they say, is classy.
Drop-in stripper school classes are open to any woman at Euphoria Dance Studio. They're $30 for a one-hour class, or four classes for $100.
Private lessons and bachelorette party classes are also available.
