Jenna Jameson Starts 2004 as a Media Magnet with Covers on Penthouse, Hustler and AVN, a 5-Page Pictorial in FHM and Recognition by VH1 as One of the World's Hottest People.
(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) -- The line of fans waiting to get an autograph and picture of Jenna Jameson and new ClubJenna contract star Krystal Steal at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas last week was so long that show logistics experts were called in to keep fire marshals from shutting the whole show down. Not surprising since the reigning queen of adult was in the process of hitting another peak in media interest, with a five-page pictorial spread in FHM magazine, simultaneous covers and centerfold spreads in Hustler and Penthouse, and the cover of leading industry trade journal, AVN. She also was recognized as one of the world's "hottest hotties" by VH1.
As the new year dawned, Jenna also co-hosted (with comedian Jim Norbert) the 21st Annual AVN Awards ceremony on January 10th, just a day after the crowds greeting her appearance on the floor of AVN's expo at the Sands Hotel stunned even show organizers. She's front and center on the cover of AVN's January issue, which features a story on the Vivid Girls.
"There were well over a thousand people on the line to meet Jenna and she took the time to chat with every single person," according to one AEE observer. "The crowd was very orderly and polite, but there were so many people that the expo managers had to call in people to figure out how to arrange the line so the crowds could keep moving."
Jenna was all over VH1 this past weekend as the network released its picks for the "100 Hottest Hotties." At #62, she outranked Ashanti (63), Penelope Cruz (64), Christina Aguilera (77) and Charlize Theron (81).
The first weeks of 2004 also saw Jenna gracing the pages of the Jackson Guitar Website, where she has been enlisted to help launch the Jackson Online store and its full array of clothing and accessories.
The February issue of FHM features five pages of photos by Richard Reinsdorf, which help illustrate Jenna's monthly column (in which she gives advice to one reader on using organic sexual aids such as eggplants and strawberries and tells another, "I love to dance, but why get sweaty and funky before sex?").
Jenna spices up the cover of the February issue of Hustler and in her column, "Jenna Tales: Adventures in the Skin Trade," she reveals that her favorite person to work with in adult films is Vivid Girl Briana Banks, "That girl is so beautiful and has no inhibitions whatsoever. She does things you guys couldn't even imagine."
The special Pet of the Year January issue of Penthouse features "Jenna Jameson as you've Never Seen her," with a fold-out poster and a 13-page pictorial by Carl Wachter. "From her humble roots as a Las Vegas showgirl to her iconic status in the adult-film industry, Jenna Jameson has paved the way for herself, demonstrating that she can break all the rules and still win," says Penthouse as it also honors her as Pet of the Month for January 2004.
