Houston Sings at House of Blues Sunset Strip

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Adult superstar Houston will preview her new music single "What Do you Want From Me?" with a special live performance this Sunday night, December 14 at the House of Blues on the famed Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. Houston will also serve as hostess for the evening as celebrated Los Angeles music promoter Sean Healy Presents throws an "X-rated X-mas Bash". Opening for Houston are a selection of the hottest new bands in Los Angeles: Slow Motion Reign, Galaxy Grand Prix, Alestar Digby, Cacawates and Yayo Jones.
"What Do you Want From Me?" and the B-side "Open Your Mind" are both included on a maxi-single, the upcoming first release from Hot Houston Records, Houston's very own label. The maxi-single will be officially released at retail in the Us in late January 2004 and will be accompanied by an extensive publicity and marketing campaign. Houston previewed the song to the world on the Howard Stern Show during a recent appearance with Courtney Love. Both Stern and Love were blown away and gave Houston rave reviews. The song has also received airplay across New England on WFNX and in Houston, TX on KLOL. The maxi-single will be available in Los Angeles exclusively at the Wherehouse - Beverly Connection at 100 North LA Cienega at Third after the performance.
Houston comments: "I'm so proud of this record and I'm really excited to finally be able to share it with people. To do the first performance of my single at the House of Blues is like a dream come true."
