(TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA) -- Toronto, labeled by many as the most multi-cultural city in the world, aptly illustrated its ethnic diversity in the results of the recent Miss Nude Toronto Pageant host by Filmores Adult Playground, 212 Dundas St. E. In downtown Toronto.
Only two of the contestants were born and raised in Toronto, all the others came from such diverse locations as Holland, Hungary, Germany, the Yukon, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Ottawa.
The winner, Nikki Cage recently moved to Toronto from Winnipeg and when asked about her ethnic background informed us that she is 50% Hungarian (her dad) and 25% Chinese with the remaining 25% Trinidadian (her mom).
So very representative of multi-cultural Toronto, this exotic mixture of blood lines has resulted in a wonderful, strikingly beautiful and immensely talented young woman who beat out some fabulous competition to win the right to call herself Miss Nude Toronto 2003/2004
Nikki Cage will also represent this fantastic city in the National Finals of the Miss Nude Canada Pageant 2003 to be held later this year.
This year's Miss Nude Toronto Pageant also showcased for Toronto's viewing pleasure Miss Nude Holland 2002: Jewel Paris.
Jewel, paying her own expenses, flew into Toronto Sunday night. Due to circumstance I had to go to the airport to pick her up, and of course I took my trusty old digital Kodak and I want to show you some of the images that I captured for your enjoyment. I just love these images of my first meeting with Jewel. She had been stuck at the airport lost for almost 2 hours having arrived in a different terminal (and thereby missing her pickup driver) with a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius plus humidity! But still a beautiful smile and a wonderful personality.
After checking in we walk over to the famous Pickle Barrel on Yonge Street for refreshments. Jewel orders a Diet Coke but as soon as she hears me order a "Killer Shake" she quickly changes her order to a Banana Killer Shake! That is when I fell in love! A woman who is not afraid to live life to the fullest, and with a big laugh and smile while doing it!
Now everyone must realize what a brave move Jewel was making when she flew into a major competition the day before its start. Jewel dances in Europe where exotic dance is so different to the Canadian and North American dance style.
In Europe the feature performers do very artistic, stylized shows, often in dinner theaters. The show length is only 10 minutes compared to the 20 - 30 minute shows that North American features perform, and as soon as the G-string is removed the show ends!
Jewel had to learn fast and adapt her shows during the competition itself, and learn she did! All week her scores got gradually better until the Saturday Night Finals, (50% of the total score), where she finished First for Saturday's performance scores.
I am pleased to report to my Canadian readers that Jewel enjoyed Canada so much she will be back for the National Finals of the Miss Nude Canada Pageant and is revamping all of her shows to fit the Canadian format.
Jewel Paris will start to feature in the new year and will be appearing at a club near to you so be sure to go and see her, and welcome her to our wonderful country.
