Zupko to Shoot Opera

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Elegant Angel director Thomas Zupko promises that his latest project, Opera, will be the highlight of his porn career. Loosely based on "Prospero's Books", Peter Greenaway's 1992 take on Shakespeare's "The Tempest", it stars Avy Scott, Satine Diamond, Katja, Ashley Blue, and legendary porn star Papillon in her comeback performance. It also features mainstream opera singer Franz Stary who does the actual singing and plays the lead role of Puccini.
"It will be the most amazing show I have ever done." Zupko says. "The set I had built is something right out of the Roman Empire. Franz plays a heroin addict who lives on the streets, whose life has passed him by and as he begins to O.D., he falls into the hallucinatory fantasy world of what could have been. Being a failed opera singer, of course, these fantasies all take place on the opera stage, each act a symbolic reflection of what went wrong in his life."
Zupko promises that Opera, along with bizarre Fellini-esque imagery, will showcase some of the most intense anal sex ever lensed.
Zupko" 'I plan on making every sex scene in this movie a candidate for sex scene of the year. Every girl in it is smoking hot and thoroughly excited about being a part of this project. I don't want to give anything away, but suffice to say, that the sex is going to be some of the nastiest and most aggressive I have ever shot, all set against the backdrop of some of the most stunning surreal imagery imaginable."
Elegant Angel General Manager Axel Braun says that Zupko's vision for Opera is almost "beyond porn, I understand why some people think Zupko needs to be institutionalized". Braun adds ""When he was telling me about it in his usual rapid-fire speak, (referring to Prospero's Books), I was totally impressed. It is something that has never been done before, and has all the makings of a classic.
Zupko's first release for Elegant, Flesh Circus, received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, including Editor's Choices from AVN and Adam Film World. But he says that Opera will be his legacy.
Zupko: "Everything I've ever learned in life and pornography will be manifest in this film. It will contain the most graphic unforgettable anal sex with imagery that will disturb, shock, and arouse. No matter what happens afterwards, I know I will have created a flick that will open the floodgates."
