Wicked Pictures Receives Nine XRCO Awards Noms

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- An established leader in adult entertainment for ten years, Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that it recently received a total of nine nominations from the prestigious X-Rated Critics Organization. Critics representing the nation's leading adult magazines and web sites selected the nominations, which saw Wicked represented in virtually all major categories, including Film of the Year, Video of the Year, DVD of the Year, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Director of the Year.
Brad Armstrong's controversial film Falling From Grace emerged as Wicked's top contender, snaring Film of the Year, Best Actor (for Armstrong), Best Actress (for Sydnee Steele), and Best Three-Way sex Scene (for jessica drake, Nicole Sheridan, and Voodoo). Armstrong also received a Director of the Year nod for his overall body of work in 2002.
Michael Raven's work for Wicked dominated the company's video representation, with his Devinn Lane vehicle Breathless receiving nominations for both Video of the Year and Best Girl/Girl Scene for Devinn and April. Raven's Sydnee Steele project Heroin received a nod for Best Group Scene thanks to a five-way featuring April, Violet Blue, Avy Scott, Randy Spears, and Dillon. In the digital arena, David Crawford's trend-setting work with Wicked's DVD division was recognized with a DVD of the Year nomination for Euphoria. The acclaimed two-disc set has already won multiple awards from AVN and other voting bodies.
