Jenna to O'Reilly: Lighten Up it's 2003!

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) -- Adult star Jenna Jameson fired back at Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly today for referring to her as a "quasi-prostitute," telling him to lighten up and accept that fact that sex has been used to sell products since the beginning of advertising.
"In a weird 'Talking Point' commentary Monday night on 'The O'Reilly Factor' Mr. O'Reilly complained about an ad campaign in which the Pony company uses me and other actresses from Vivid Entertainment to endorse its products," Ms. Jameson said. "He claims Pony is 'using quasi-prostitutes' to sell sneakers."
"I hope Bill understands the difference between a porn star and a hooker," said Ms. Jameson. "I assume he has done some research on the subject matter, because he requested some of my videos after we finished taping my appearance on his program last summer. I imagine he wanted them for professional reasons, of course."
"I get a kick out of Bill," she added. "He likes to hop up on the pulpit waving a banner and trying to get everyone to listen to his shtick. It's funny, but this time he's hopping on the wrong stand. Advertising campaigns geared toward adults and/or the hip generation consumers have always been based around some kind of sex appeal -- either a car with sex appeal or a sexy woman. Come on, lighten up, it's 2003! Gee, Bill, I'm sorry I looked sexy in the Pony ad. That's just how God made me."
Ms. Jameson also invited Mr. O'Reilly to tune in to flirt4free.com on Thursday (February 27, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. PST) for a live Internet chat to discuss the issue further. "And I guess you can say I'll be quasi-nude --- I'll be wearing only my Pony sneakers."
