(VAN NUYS, CA) -- Vivid Entertainment has signed top Asian porn star Mimi Miyagi to star in "Happy Ending," her first new adult feature in seven years. The video by top director David Stanley will be shot in Southern California February 25-27.
"Porn Star Mimi Miyagi is one of the most exciting Asian women in porn, a frenetic sexual animal whose every move seems calculated to get a rise out of an audience," according to Talking Blue Television anchor Dave Michaels.
The Japanese-born Mimi Miyagi had dreams of becoming an Olympic gymnast, but she put this ambition aside after her first sexual experiences as a teenager. She moved to the United States and began making adult movies, starring in 84 features including two for Vivid: "Paper Tiger" and "Made in Japan."
The self-described "true nymphomaniac" also built a strong fan base as a feature dancer in gentlemen's clubs around the country. Putting her acting career on hold seven years ago she formed Mimi Miyagi, Inc., launched the "Asian Hotties" men's magazine group, created her website, began a site design and web programming business, and started the "Fantasiany" Asian-themed video line.
David Stanley is considered to be among the elite adult film directors. He is under exclusive contract with Vivid and also writes screenplays for director Paul Thomas.
"Happy Ending" tells the fictionalized story of Mimi Miyagi, now out of porn and running a holistic healing center specializing in therapeutic massage. But her past won't leave her alone, and she faces pressure to turn her legit business into something more profitable.
