(SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA) -- Laurie Holmes, The widow and sole heir of John Holmes announced today that she has regained ownership thus far of 13 John Holmes domain names in different variations. Some of the domains recovered include: JohnHolmes.com, JohnHolmes.org, JohnHolmes.info, FreeJohnHolmes.com, JohnHolmesPorn.com, FreeJohnHolmesPics.com, JohnHolmesMovies.com, JohnHolmes.us, JohnHolmes.biz, HolmesJohn.com, JohnHolmes-Pictures.com, JohnHolmesGallery.com and JohnHolmesPhotos.com.
"The Laws of the Internet have changed and it is important for people to know this. I teamed up with Steve Anderson of Anderson and Shippey located in New Port Beach California, a law firm with a great deal of expertise in Domain Dispute and other similar subjects. Through Anderson and Shippey I have been able to recover these domains with "Cease and Desist" letters. Steve Anderson takes his job seriously and has recovered many domains for many celebrities. For example, "You can sell Campbell Soup in a store but you cannot name your store Campbell Soup because Campbell Soup is a trademarked name." These same rules apply to the Adult Industry. You can sell John Holmes videos but you cannot name your store John Holmes because John Holmes is my intellectual property. Intellectual Property is the same thing as a Trademark.
