17TH Annual IVD/ECN Warehouse Show
Source: Pleasure Productions
by: Company Press Release

(HIGHTSTOWN, NJ) -- The 17th Annual IVD/ECN show held last Sunday, September 22nd, was a tremendous success. Sunday was a big show where retailers met their IVD/ECN reps face-to-face, gained knowledge of new hot items in the market and had fun with the talent.

This annual retailer-only event even bettered previous shows in both business and fun-level meter. IVD/ECN would like to thank the sponsors for sending talent contributing to the success and fun of the show. Big names were in attendance: Tom Byron and Veronica Caine from Extreme, Haven and Jenna Haze from Jill Kelly Productions, Devinn Lane from Wicked, Gina Lynn and Trisha Uptown from Pleasure, India from Video Team, Jack Napier, Venus, Aurora Snow and Diana DeVoe from West Coast, Serenity and Christi Lake from Las Vegas Novelties, Savanna Samson from Vivid, Nikki Fairchild from Topco and Fujiko from Swedish Erotica.

A surprise appearance by famous lyricist-turned-movie star, Ice-T, caused a commotion as he graciously greeted fans, took pictures and signed autographs for star-struck adult retailers.

Aside from taking advantage of huge show specials in videos, DVDs, toys and novelties, retailers partook in the fun as they took pictures, brushed elbows (aside from other parts) with the big name talent in attendance. IVD/ECN together with sponsors Rosebud, Jill Kelly Productions, Red Light District, DreamGirls and Hustler Video upped the ante this year with four great raffle prizes for retailers to win. First prize (brand new Kawasaki Jet Ski) caused a buzz with its display in front of the Hightstown office. Other prizes included a date with Gina Lynn, 32-inch Sony Wega TV and a Toshiba laptop computer. Show attendees who entered the raffle eagerly await the announcement of winners scheduled in the upcoming East Coast Video Show in Atlantic City where IVD/ECN has a major presence. Visit them this year at Booth number 7227.

Kim S., IVD National Sales Manager, had this to say about the show "Our show gets better each year. We got compliments for our catered food this year. Talent sent by our vendors has been consistently great. As far as business, I have seen increased sales of DVD over the past three years. I really think it will continue its strong ascent specially with its real-time interactive capabilities."

ECN National Sales Manager, Bo P., said "It was another successful show. Whipsmart's display and the Pleasure Swing got a lot of inquiries and compliments. The new line of Gina Lynn toys was quite popular as well. I've always said that the best salesman for toys/novelties is the model of the molds and Gina really works the crowd with her friendliness. I don't see a slow down in novelty sales. I expect it to get even better as our busy season approaches with the holidays."

Mike Savage, IVD/ECN General Manager's thoughts were "I think the show was phenomenal. It was extremely well-organized and everyone had fun. The adult industry is just jamming. Business was great!"

IVD/ECN President, Frank Kay provided this quote "I am grateful to all the manufacturers who sent talent and giveaways including Wet, West Coast and Nasswalk. I would also like to thank Wicked, California Exotic Novelties, Pleasure, Rosebud, Topco and Doc Johnson for sponsoring an intimate cocktail/dinner on Saturday as well as the other sponsors for our great prizes. Most of all, I would like to thank our loyal customers for their support of our annual event. I wish all the people who participated in this year's raffle luck in winning the four prizes we are offering."
