The 18th Annual Awards of the X-Rated Critics Organization

(CENTURY CITY, CA) -- Sponsored by Wicked Pictures, the X-Rated Critics Organization awards show was attended by professionals throughout the Adult Industry. Hosted by Tera Patrick and with the awards presented by some of the biggest stars in the business, the annual awards of the XRCO had more the feel of a dysfunctional family reunion than an awards show.
The crowd began gathering at the Century Club at 7:00 Pm and socialized until about 9:30. When the show began Tera was to the point in getting down to the presentations with the crowd continuing to talk in a low rumble throughout the program. There was a VIP room upstairs for photo ops and an outside smoking area for additional socializing open during the event.
In addition to the well-deserved recognition to the stars honored at the event two additional things stand out in retrospect. First was Tera's comment about Kaylynn who won most Orgasmic Oralist saying, "She's so nice and sweet looking and she's a whore too, just like the rest of us", showing we can all laugh at ourselves. And second was the ruckus by those who accepted the award for Worst Movie of Year whose rant about how great Extreme Associates is was reminiscent of pro wrestling banter.
