(MARINA DEL REY, CA) -- James Deen was named Male Performer of the Year at the 2013 AVN Awards. The honor is his second Performer of the Year award from AVN Media Network and fifth in 2013 (XBIZ, XCritic, RogReviews.com, Orgazmik). Deen also received AVN awards for Crossover Star of the Year and Best Three-Way Sex Scene.
Upon receiving the trophy for Male Performer of the Year, Deen stated, "Thank you, every director who hires me; thank you, any girl that will have sex with me."

The Best Three-Way Sex Scene award recognized the scene between Deen and his co-stars Asa Akira and Brooklyn Lee in Elegant Angelís "Asa Akira is Insatiable 3." AVNís Heather Namikoshi calls the scene "An aggressive, good anal three-way where all involved use all they have. Wow, itís good."
Deenís Crossover Star of the Year award is partially a result of his starring role in Bret Easton Ellis and Paul Schraderís upcoming feature film, "The Canyons," where he acts opposite Lindsay Lohan.
