(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Award winning Adult and mainstream actor and radio and television host James Bartholet has received two XBIZ Nominations for the upcoming 2013 Award ceremony taking place January 11 in Century City, California. Bartholet is nominated for "Best Actor" for his hilarious and critically acclaimed role of Curly in "Not the Three Stooges XXX" for will Ryder Productions, and a "Best Non Sex Performance" for his acclaimed role of Zed in "Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody" for Wicked Pictures.
"I’m very honored and thankful for these nominations. I want to thank everyone at XBIZ for acknowledging my work. I want to thank all the production companies, directors, and fellow performers who helped make this a great year of filming," said Bartholet.
Bartholet was featured in a special article this fall in XBIZ recently, about the popular parody productions being made in the adult industry.
Adult Film critic Don Houston at XCritics wrote this about Bartholet in Men in Black, A Hardcore Parody: "It should be noted that James Bartholet did a fine job in his role as well, stealing nearly every scene he was in". Houston also said this of Bartholet's role as Curly in "Not the Three Stooges XXX"; "James/Curly’s reaction was amusing to say the least, his role sure to be up for awards of all sorts".
Gene Ross from Adult FYI and Adult Cyber Mart said this of Bartholet's role in "Not the Three Stooges XXX"; "And now I’ll give you every reason in the world, and then some, for watching this movie, which is James Bartholet. Because Bartholet has that elastic, comedic quality about him which allows him to slip easily into an abundance of nonsensical characterizations, call him a victim of soycumstance by pegging him for this role. Long johns, bowler hat and all".
The veteran actor has been filming constantly for the industry’s top studios and directors.
Bartholet's newest releases include; "Spiderman Vs. Superman XXX" for Vivid, "Breaking Bad XXX" for Sweet Mess Films, "Not the Three Stooges XXX" for will Ryder Productions, "Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody" for Wicked Pictures, "Dallas XXX" for Adam & Eve, "Cravings 2" for Wicked Pictures, and "MacGyver XXX". Bartholet is also the costar and associate producer of the mainstream horror movie "Isis Rising: The Curse of the Lady Mummy" for Tom Kat Films coming out in January 2013.
Bartholet hosts the popular weekly "Inside the Industry" with Tia Cyrus. The radio program is heard Wednesday nights from 8:00pm to 9:00pm PST, and rebroadcast daily on LA Talk Radio: www.latalkradio.com and www.insidetheindustry.net.
