(LAS VEGAS, NV) -- Las Vegas based adult personality, Score video talent and Hustler men's magazine model Heather Barron was authorized by the Salvation Army to hand out prescription drug cards to adult entertainers, single parents and people in need.
The prescription drug cards save holders up to 75% off of medication.
Barron has been working with local Las Vegas charities in efforts of getting women off the street, off drugs and battered women connected to support systems in Las Vegas for the past several years.
"It's relatively controversial that a Christian charity would affiliate themselves with adult entertainment in any way, shape or form. I am not saying the Christian church supports porn or adult content but this charity's ability to look beyond what we do for a living and actually care about us, is really special. I've been out there driving through bad neighborhoods trying to rehabilitate battered women and drug addicted individuals by referring them to the charities. I think adult entertainers can connect to women who have been through hard times because many of us have. We're no angels but we are strong and we don't need to leave the adult business to make a difference in the community in some special ways. It's up to us to change the way the world sees us."
