Naked News Holding L.A. Auditions This Week - Celebrities And News Media Invited To Help Judge

Naked News(TM) will hold auditions for new webcasters Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2 in Los Angeles from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Elan Hotel Modern, 8435 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA. 90048. The news program with "nothing to hide" is seeking to add new men and women to its popular Internet site (www.nakednews.com).
Applicants must be at least age 18 or older. Interviews are by appointment only and can be made by calling (310) 836-8355.
Victoria Sinclair (International News anchor) and Gretchen Frazier (Weather anchor) will be on hand both days to judge the auditions. Celebrities and news media are welcome to come help them, and can do so by calling (310) 836-8355.
"Los Angeles is the entertainment capital of the world," said Kathy Pinckert, Naked News Director of Public Relations, "and so we felt that it would be the perfect city to hold our first auditions outside of Canada. We are looking for a few good men and women to join our growing news network, and are searching for people who are talented, intelligent and charismatic."
It is anticipated that the new webcasters will be named in August, 2001. They will go through a brief training period, and it is expected that they will make their debut on NakedNews.com in September, 2001.
"Our goal will be to eventually hold talent searches in other cities, including those in Europe and Asia," added Pinckert. "For those not willing to wait until Naked News can come to them, they can come to our website, click on our Talent Search Button and follow the easy instructions to submit a videotape."
