(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Adult studios New Sensations and Digital Sin earned an impressive 63 AVN Award nominations for the 2012 event. Respected throughout the adult and mainstream industries as a leading producer in high quality XXX parodies and romance features, the studio’s multiple nominations in their respective genres substantiate the reputation.

New Sensations’ films "The Flintstones: A XXX Parody" and "Anchorman: A XXX Parody" and Revolution X/Digital Sin’s, "Star Trek TNG: A XXX Parody" lead for the parody genre with 30 combined nominations including Best Parody, Best Director, and Best Screenplay for each. Meanwhile the Romance Series’, "A Little Part of Me," "Dear Abby," and "Lost and Found" secured 16 combined nominations with all of the titles appearing as Best Feature of the year. Leading for the all-sex category was Digital Sin’s newest line, "She’s So Cute" which earned nominations in the Best New Series, Best Young Girl’s release, and Best Young Girl Series categories.
New Sensations’ founder, Scott Taylor (who will be inducted into this year’s AVN Hall of Fame) says, "The fact that we have an impressive number of nominations within the parody, romance, and all-sex categories is a testament to the fact that New Sensations knows the adult marketplace and can cater to the varied needs of our fan base. Much of the success of New Sensations and Digital Sin can be attributed to a strong group of capable directors. James Avalon, Sam Hain, Eddie Powell and will Ryder all received Best Director (Feature) nominations for New Sensations and Digital Sin titles (Eddie Powell and will Ryder also were honored with Director of the Year nominations).
