(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Award winning Adult and mainstream actor and radio and television host James Bartholet can add two more nominations to his resume this awards season, as the veteran performer was recently nominated for two 2012 AVN Awards.
"Wow, I'm very honored and excited about my nominations this year. These are two great categories, and I'm nominated with such talented fellow performers. I want to thank AVN for recognizing me for the work I've done this year, and I want to thank all of the companies and performers that I've worked with. Many of these parody projects were real team efforts, and I've enjoyed working on every one of them," stated Bartholet.
With memorable roles in the year’s top adult films, Bartholet is being recognized for Best Actor for his lead role as "Detective Roush" in the hit "Saw: A Hardcore Parody" for Blue Circus Entertainment/Pulse.
He is also nominated for "Best Non-Sex Performance of the Year" for his role as "The Pornologist" in Wicked Pictures’ "The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody."
The 2012 AVN Awards will be hosted Bree Olson, Sunny Leone and comedian Dave Attell and will take place January 21, 2012, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. For more information, visit http://www.avnawards.com.
The veteran actor has been filming constantly for the industry’s top studios and directors.
Bartholet recently wrapped "Dallas XXX" for Adam & Eve, and "Cravings 2" for Wicked Pictures.
His newest releases "The Rocki Whore Picture Show" for Wicked Pictures, "The Official Halloween Parody," for Zero Tolerance, "The Graduate XXX" for Paul Thomas, "Spiderman XXX" for Vivid, and XPlay’s "Not Jennifer Lopez XXX an American Idol," and " not Rocky XXX" and "Beverly Hillbillies XXX," have been doing very well in stores and getting good reviews.
Bartholet hosts the popular weekly "Inside the Industry" with Emy Reyes.
