AVN Announces Dates & Venue

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- AVN Media Network is pleased to announce that the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo is getting a fresh new venue that will unite the three biggest events on the adult industry circuit under one roof, all taking place over four excitement-filled days
The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), AVN Novelty Expo (ANE) and the AVN Awards all will be held January 18-21 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. AEE will run Wednesday through Saturday, January 18-21, and ANE will take place January 18-20. The must-attend AVN Awards will take place Saturday, January 21, in the Pearl Theater at the Palms. After having hosted the AVN Awards for the past two years, the Palms is excited at the prospect of helping AVN take the Adult Entertainment Expo and the Adult Novelty Expo in a new direction, said George J. Maloof, Jr., owner of the Palms Resort Casino. We believe our world-class facilities and professional staff will help make the January shows a great success.
The change marks a new vision for AEE, the venerable trade and consumer event that over its 14-year history has set the standard for adult conventions. Attendees and exhibitors of AEE will experience something unique in 2012. Based on exhibitor and attendee feedback, for instance, AEE will not run concurrent with CES, which will minimize travel expenses and maximize networking opportunities for exhibitors. The events will still overlap with other consumer shows in Las Vegas, including the Shot Show, an annual shooting and hunter show that brings over 50,000 people into the city. Even better, each industry sector will have its own part of the Palms.
AEE will have a number of places to call home. Foremost is the massive Rain nightclub, with a multi-tiered layout and centralized stage that will provide the optimum venue for talent signings and stage shows. Space will also be taken over in the Key West Room and other strategically located areas within the Palms, where the flexibility of the arrangement will produce an enhanced experience for everyone involved.
Fans, especially, will have more and better opportunities to interact with the talent, who will also have more creative opportunities to strut their stuff. Unlike the more-sterile environment of a humongous convention hall, the rich environs of the Palms provide an intimacy and show-biz dynamic that will feel more like a party than a trade event.
ANE will be centered in the Palms Ballroom, which features copious space for exhibits, as well as the use of second-floor meeting rooms for distributors and others. Booth sizes will be 8x10, with double-sized booths (16x20) also available. For those interested in B2B opportunities, the powerful combination of AEE and ANE will offer myriad ways to meet and do business as you like it. From private meeting rooms to public exhibit areas, the exclusive use of the Palms provides show organizers with the ability to design new ways to meet the needs of the most demanding company owner.
Educational offerings also will be enhanced as never before. The Palms has set aside the use of its movie theaters for both AEE and ANE seminars and workshops, where state-of-the-art media and sound-proofed rooms will provide the optimal opportunity to catch and keep the audiences attention. In addition to the physical advantages of having the full use of the Palms, the newly reformulated AEE will also offer industry and fan attendees several other advantages, including lower room prices than ever before, parties every night of the show (including two club parties and one gentleman's club party nightly), and an invite-only CEO dinner slated for January 17, to name a few.
