The Area's Free Speech Coalition Chapters Elect Their Leadership, Schedule Lobbying Training Session

(SILVER SPRING, MD) -- The unified Free Speech Coalition chapters of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia have elected their officers and directors. After electing a Board of Directors at their May 3, 2001, organizing meeting, the FSC chapters elected their officers on June 13, 2001, with the following election results:
OFFICERS (all officers are also Directors):

* Chez Joey (cabaret), Baltimore, Maryland
* Earle Theatre (movie theater), Baltimore, Maryland
* Ryan East Distributors (distributor of entertainment products), Baltimore, Maryland
* Showcase Theater (cabaret), Beltsville, Maryland
The FSC of DC, Maryland, and Virginia will hold a lobbying training Session in Maryland at a location to be announced on July 24-25, 2001, with national FSC Legislative Affairs Director Kat Sunlove. The training session will be open to all chapter members and supporters of the adult entertainment industry. The Free Speech Coalition is the only organization that supports and Fights for all applications of the First and Fourth Amendments. FSC's mission is to educate, lobby and support litigation to further the understanding and acceptance of the meaning of the First and Fourth Amendments in general and as they regard adult materials in particular.
