Pink Visual RTA PSA for ASACP

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has released a new public service announcement (PSA) for the Restricted to Adults (RTA™) Website Label; this time featuring Pink Visual President Allison Vivas.
The PSA features Vivas reminding companies to protect children and to protect their business by labeling with RTA and is available for viewing on YouTube.com/Asacprta. Pink Visual voluntarily produced the video for ASACP, shooting and editing the clip in-house.
Previous PSA’s encouraged parents to enable parental filtering to protect their children from viewing age-restricted content. The new PSA is part of a campaign featuring industry business leaders reminding companies about the benefits of labeling with the award-winning RTA label. This new campaign previously featured a print advertisement with Michael Klein, President of LFP Inc/Hustler; as well as an international outreach effort with Mickey Bojcsik of Adult Webmaster Empire (AWE).

This latest PSA highlights the release of RTA labeling for adult mobile apps — an arena in which Pink Visual is a recognized market leader.
''Pink Visual was one of the first companies to develop mobile applications,'' Irvine concluded. ''This is why we knew that it was imperative to launch the new RTA Label/Filter for Android Mobile Apps with Allison in the PSA.''
RTA is the adult entertainment industry’s initiative to protect children from viewing content that is age-restricted. It was developed by ASACP out of a need for an easy to use and internationally recognized label that designates content for adults only.
The RTA label is a unique string of ''meta data'' which can easily be inserted into the computer code of any website’s Html or mobile app offering. If parents have installed parental filtering software and setup the features in Microsoft or Apple operating systems, children are prevented from viewing age-restricted content. November 2006 and currently over 4.5 million sites are labeled with RTA. From a recent poll of these companies, there are conservatively over 6.5 billion visitors per month to pages labeled with RTA.
The ASACP RTA program was honored by the American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership by being named the 2008 overall winner of the Associations Make a Better World award. ASACP has received Certificates of Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives, California State Senate, California State Assembly, and the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, West Hollywood, and Redondo Beach acknowledging ASACP’s efforts to help parents prevent their children from viewing age-restricted content with the RTA website label.
