The 2010 Ponderosa Sun Club Nudes-a-Poppin Festival: Tony Batman, Saturday and the Ponderosa Strip
The Nudes a Poppin Festival Weekend at the Ponderosa Sun Club in Roselawn Indiana is touted as the biggest outdoor nude beauty pageant and dance competition. Literally tens of thousands of people come to it every year and this being my 9th year and 4th year co hosting I have seen it change and grow in my short time being affiliated with the show. I say short time because the pageant has been running for 35 years and the Ponderosa Sun Club has been open for 45 years. The main host, the hedgehog himself Ron Jeremy has been hosting for about 30 years so I have some catching up to do before I can call myself an expert.
The 2010 version of the Nudes a Poppin Show had events on both Saturday and Sunday, something we started doing a couple of years ago to give everyone a chance to meet everyone up close in a relaxed atmosphere. Saturday now boasts a handful of fun and exciting contests as well. For the second year Scandalous Entertainment held the Oil Wrestling Championships and for the first time ever we added the Sexy Pole Dance Contest which was incredible right from the start.
Saturday now has a full selection of adult vendors and booths as well. You could buy Adult DVD’s Get pictures with Porn Stars, check out the latest in Adult Novelties and there were several sex enhancement companies there as well which I made friends with right away since it was a sexy weekend ad I had not had much sleep. Bone Daddy Now was the new company that I was impressed with, they had some of the sexiest models on what I tagged as ''the Ponderosa Strip''. Every year now on the Saturday of Nudes a Poppin, vendors can show and sell their wares on the Ponderosa Strip and with all the fans and photographers there, the exposure is awesome.
Sunday was the big day for the show with Ron Jeremy, Sunny Lane, Adara Michaels, Bad Boy Dennis Rodman and Myself on the stage for all of the Miss Nude and Mr Nude contests. Everything from Miss Nude Petite, Miss Nude Galaxy, Miss Nude Entertainer of the Year, to Cherri Magazines Miss Natural Petite to the new Screaming O ''Sensual Contestant of the Year''. We also have two shows going on at one time for part of the day as we also hold the Ponderosa Amateur T Shirt Contest in the ''Pit'' at the same time as the features perform on the main stage.
Even after 35 years of the festival going on for the people we keep perfecting it and making it bigger, better and more exciting. Next year we already plan to add the world famous ''Screaming O Stage Show'' to the line up.
