Midwest Sun Club Showcases the World’s Largest Nude Beauty Pageant July 17-18 2010! It’s the 36th Annual Nudes-a-Poppin’ Competition, This year with Ron Jeremy, Sunny Lane, Tony Batman, Adara Michaels, Freak, and special guest host Dennis Rodman.
Every third Saturday and Sunday in July Ponderosa Sun Club in Roselawn, Indiana, a nudist campground plays host to a competition well known throughout the adult entertainment industry, the Annual Nudes-a-Poppin’ Competition. This event first establish in 1975 has been an avenue for skilled entertainer looking for an opportunity. Here is where they can easily find it.
Every contest yields a storehouse of opportunities for the competitors through television programs, mens magazine photogs, talent scouts and championship titles. This event has been featured on HBO’s ''Real Sex,'' Playboy’s ''Sexcetera,'' and many other national programs. And the talent certainly comes, from all over the continental United States.
Most contests have about one hundred female contestants and 10+ males competitors vying for titles in eleven different divisions: four for male entertainers, six for female entertainers and one for the couples go-go dance competition. Each title offers a trophy and cash prize. For competitors there is no entry fee.
Also gracing the stage is the 25 years plus host of the competition, Ron Jeremy. This eight hour event has had a myriad of co-hosts such as Kid Rock, Gene Simmons, Al Lewis, Vern Troyer, Tracy Bingham, Andy Dick, Mary Carey and many well-known adult entertainment stars. This year we’ll have Sunny Lane and Dennis Rodman. You can definitely expect to see an exhibit of risque acts and hear all things taboo, presented to a coed audience of 5 to 10 thousand guests.
As the only 2 days in which cameras are allowed, the patrons begin parking at the gate the evening before like dedicated fans for a rock concert, but the smart ones get there early and rent a campsite. Patrons regularly come from as far as Amsterdam to enjoy the Nudes-a-Poppin’ event. This year expect to benefit from vendor booths such as a tattoo booth, various merchandise booths and enough concessions to feed an army.
