(GLENDALE, CA) -- Adult performer Nicki Hunter brings her Burlesque and Variety Show to LaBrie's in Glendale on Wednesday night, April 7.
The Burlesque and Variety Show offers performers from a group of burlesque dancers, comedians, magicians, bands and variety acts, tying the porn world and the mainstream world together for an evening of entertainment.
''This is something I've wanted to do for a long time,'' Hunter said. ''When I host my show on Playboy Radio and the weekly Porn Star Karaoke at Sardo's Grill and Lounge, I'm more like a ringmaster showcasing other talented people. Here, I get to perform on stage and watch my friends perform as well.''
This week's line-up includes dancers Jada DeVille (http://www.JadaDeVille.com) and Jolee Blon (http://www.JoleeBlon.com); comedian Wenzel Jones, who is also a writer for Advocate and Backstage magazines; and the After These Wessages (http://www.youtube.com/afterthesewessages) crew, Wesley Calimer, Sam Khushal and Adam Korenman.
The Burlesque and Variety Show unfolds Wednesday nights at LaBrie's, 806 E. Colorado St, Glendale, which has a full bar and waitress service. Cover charge is $10. There are free giveaways of adult movies and other novelties for members of the audience. Specialty drinks are available in souvenir shot glasses that guests can take home. Parking is available at the Marquis across the street.
