Vivid Entertainment Group Acquires Web Address www.vivid.com from Connecticut Marketing Firm

(VAN NUYS, CA) -- Vivid Entertainment Group has purchased the Web address www.vivid.com from Connecticut marketing company Modem Media, Inc. and will utilize it as part of the Vivid Video complex of Internet venues.
Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment Group, said his company purchased the site from Modem Media (NASDAQ: MMPT), the company that had acquired the URL as part of its acquisition of the San Francisco Web design company Vivid Studios.
"People have looked for us at vivid.com," Mr. Hirsch said. "With this acquisition it will be much easier for our fans to access entertainment from Vivid."
Vivid's principal Web address is www.vividvideo.com. Other sites operated by Vivid Entertainment are www.vividdvd.com, www.vividtv.com, www.thehotnetwork.com and the soon-to-be-launched www.vivid4women.com
