(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- The controversial and cutting edge photography of Famed B-movie star Julie Strain (Heavy Metal), will be celebrated at a VIP invitation only reception on The Sunset Strip this week. BOLD MAGAZINE, LA's new Gen-x alternative monthly magazine, will host the event. Julie Strain is also Photo-editor of this controversial publication which has taken the city by storm in large part due to the red-hot sexy and over-the-top photography of LA's top fashion and model camera jocks-including Julie Strain, Andy Pearlman, and others.
BOLD Magazine Cover girls for their first seven issues are expected To attend, including: Jamie Bergman, Gena Lee Nolin, Amber Smith, Jennifer Gareis, Cindy Margolis, Krista Allen and Leah Remini. Joining them will be Penthouse Pets including Julie K. Smith, Playboy Playmates including Neriah Davis, the Bold Magazine Angels, Judd Nelson, cast members from Baywatch, Suddenly Susan, and King of Queens.
The Julie Strain Photo collection is co-curated by Kevin Eastman, creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Publisher of Heavy Metal Magazine. He is also Julie Strain's husband.
Julie Strain is also well known for her role as the notorious Judge Julie on the Playboy Channel's Sex Court, as well as the star of Heavy Metal's 200 game, movie and Action figures. Her art photographs have appeared in Bold Magazine, Razor, Controversy, Celebrity Sleuth, Femme Fatales, Erotica, and Fetish Magazines.
