Sunny Lane Readies for Different LV

(HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- Superstar adult performer Sunny Lane is counting down the days until she travels to Las Vegas for the big Adult Entertainment Expo and the AVN Awards Show in January but the strawberry blond is banking on a different kind of Vegas this time around.
Last year Sunny won the first of her three AVN Awards picking up the Best Anal Sex Scene trophy for her backdoor debut with Manuel Ferrara in Elegant Angel’s Big Wet Asses 13. Although known for her delicious booty she had never performed that type of sex act on camera before making the victory even that much more improbable. She has yet to perform another.
Although the southern belle still loves winning awards, success is no longer based on the amount of trophies placed on top of her fireplace mantel.
''That was such a great night in Las Vegas and I loved every minute of it especially when not Bewitched XXX won for best sex comedy. I’m really looking forward to being there again this year but I know things will be a bit different for me this time,'' she said. ''I don’t mean in terms of wins and losses but just in terms of my place in the industry right now and how far I’ve come.''
This year, Sunny has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actress award for her mischievous role in the blockbuster Adam & Eve Pictures/X-Play comedy Flight Attendants directed by will Ryder. It was a delicious role playing the super- cute but all-too-bitchy flight attendant from Transcon Airlines that is at odds with the good-girls at Global Airlines.
''It was such a fun character for me to play and my fans really seem to love this movie,'' she confessed. ''I enjoyed playing the bad girl and working on those big hard jumbo jets was awesome and if I win an award that’s frosting on the cake.''
''Sunny easily could have also been nominated for another award for her three-way sex scene with Eva Angelina and Eric Swiss,'' chimed will Ryder. ''It’s a beautifully dirty scene but I have to say that Sunny has really grown as a performer over these past four years. She’s still the same perky fun-loving girl we all love but she has a more confident aura around her now. I’ve known her for a long time and I can see the changes in her but one thing that hasn’t changed is that she’s still the James Brown of the porn world in that nobody outworks her.''
''I love this business and the people in it and I just want to please everybody but mostly I want to please my fans. If I could please each one of them personally I would,'' she said which is ironic considering that fans can do their best to be pleased by Sunny at the World Famous Bunny Ranch near Reno, Nevada.
Among her other AVN Award nominations this year include Best Group Sex Scene for Porn Star Workout from Elegant Angel and a very personal nomination for Web Starlet of the Year. Sunny is all over the internet and apparently the fans love her having voted her as the 2009 Booble Girl of the Year. Her ever-growing website www.sunnylanelive.com is bustling with activity and is part of the Vette Nation Army giving it visibility far beyond a normal porn-star’s boundaries.
''I really love my fans and am so happy to have a place for them to come back to over and over and visit with me and have some dirty fun and get to know me,'' Sunny rejoiced. ''Winning that award would be awesome.''
Of the many features on her site, fans can read her blog and participate in her live cam-to-cam show every Wednesday night at 5PM. Sunny Lane will be signing autographs during the AEE in the Elegant Angel booth and appearing on Playboy Radio live from the show. ''It’s all about the fans and I love mine,'' she concluded.
Las Vegas will be fun and crazy but somehow Sunny Lane fits in even better.
